Beans Mezhukku-Perattiyathu {stir-fry}

All kinds of veggies are delicious stir fried and this recipe sure is something which you will stir up not just once but pretty much often. They are flavorful and teams best with fluffy rice and simple curry.

Ingredients:
250 g Beans, cleaned and cut into small strips
1 Onion, finely sliced
Few cloves of Garlic, finely sliced
2 Green chillies, slit lengthwise
Few Curry leaves
Few Mustard seeds
Oil, as required
Salt, to taste

Method:

  • Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
  • Stir in the sliced onion, garlic, green chillies and curry leaves. Saute them until they brown a little.
  • Add the chopped beans and cook them with the lid on until soft. Saute and stir in the salt as per your taste.
  • Remove them from fire and serve hot with fluffy rice.


Notes: You can opt out on the sliced garlic and still this would make a tasty side dish.
